Our Collies share our home on 13 stunning acres at the base of the Rocky Mountains. They live as both indoor and outdoor companions—sleeping inside with us at night, and enjoying plenty of freedom to run, explore, train, and play throughout the acreage during the day. When they’re not relaxing at home, you’ll often find them training or competing in CKC Obedience, Rally, and Conformation.
We invite you to explore our site and reach out through our contact page if you’d like to chat about our Collies, our program, or upcoming litters. At High Country Collies, we are dedicated to breeding for excellence in structure, health, temperament, and genetic diversity. Our goal is to produce healthy Collies who thrive as active companions, shine in dog sports, enrich family life, and even assist on farms. All our Collies undergo comprehensive genetic screening for: Collie Eye Anomaly (CEA), MDR1, DM, CN, Progressive Retinal Atrophy, Rod-Cone Dysplasia 2, Dermatomyositis (DMS), and Recurrent Inflammatory Pulmonary Disease. Brucella testing before breeding; and OFA evaluations for hips and elbows to ensure strong orthopedic health. |
